Tried and tested: London Fashion Week looks

How has Fashion Month already come to an end? We’ve seen some stunning looks from the catwalks in New York, London, Milan and finally Paris, with designers mixing up the fashion schedules by showing both Autumn/Winter 16 and Spring/Summer 17 offerings. This means that many of the make-up looks can be worn right now, so we’ve rounded up some of the best from the British capital.

Illamasqua Lipstick in Flare - 4/5

Models at the Versus Versace wore a bright, nearly neon orange-red lipstick at the London Fashion Week runway show. Emulate the look for yourself with Illamasqua’s Flare, an orange-based red which works well on most complexions. The formula glides on smoothly for a perfect pout which wears all day, with the in-between hue a great option to try during the transition from summer to fall.

Bondi Sands Self Tanning Foam Dark – 4.5/5

Models at Temperley London’s LFW show rocked a golden tan, reminding us that looking bronzed isn’t just for the summer months. Bondi Sands Self Tanning Foam is one of the best fake tans out there, as not only does it provide long lasting color, but it also has a lovely coconut smell which is a world away from the usual fake tan stink! Apply liberally, adding another layer half an hour after the first one. Like all bottled tans it will leave orange marks all over clothes and bed sheets before washing off, but the smell is so much easy to handle!

The Body Shop Fresh Nude Foundation – 4/5

Fresh faced looks featured in numerous catwalk shows, including at J.W. Anderson and Roksanda Ilincic’s. This foundation from The Body Shop delivers all over coverage without being too thick, letting skin shine through. Perfect for those who aren’t after heavy duty coverage, but not ideal if you want blemishes and dark circles to disappear. It lasts for hours and leaves a nice dewy finish too.
